Saturday, December 16th, is the third annual Holy City Holiday Market. There will be over thirty vendors there, selling locally made wares that are perfect for your friends and family this holiday season. We, Charleston Oyster Farm, will be participating among them, selling fresh, local salty single oysters on the half shell to get you "in the mood" for the holiday season! The event starts at noon and runs all the way until 6pm, with Graham Whorley providing live music at 3pm. It's a great way to spend time with the family, shop for the season, drink beer, spread cheer, and shuck with loved ones ;)

Vendors will be selling all different types of wares as well as twenty-five holy city beers on tap. Food will be provided by the kitchen at Holy City Brewing, and we’ll be providing oysters for roasting as well to get everyone in the mood for holiday cheer.

Holy City Brewing will also give guests the option of spreading some extra holiday cheer by leaving gifts for MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital under our keg-mas tree. They will be accepting gifts for all ages, and a representative will be there to make sure that all of the donations make it to the hospital in time for Christmas. This holiday season join Charleston Oyster Farm at Holy City Brewing for a fun night of local bluegrass, oysters and beer! This will be our first event, and it will be the perfect excuse to get out of the house with that family you will have just spent the last 48 hours with! Just kidding, we know people could never get sick of family or require alcohol over the holidays. But, just in case...We will be shucking our singles, pairing them with some fantastic HCB beer, and teaching people about mariculture/oyster farming in Charleston. Friends, Family, and Four leggeds are welcome. No advanced purchases necessary. 

Join us in helping Charleston Water Keeper clean up our working waterfront community at Mosquito Beach! This area has had lots of damage from different storms over the last few years, and is closely linked with our clean up efforts with Backman's Seafood (just down Sol Legare Rd). It's not too late to volunteer and there will be plenty of beach and mosquitoes to go around!
